This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on refresh.mov-studio.com. It complements the Privacy Policy and operates within the framework of the ePrivacy Directive (transposed by Article 82 of French Act No. 78-17) and the French CNIL recommendation of 17 September 2020.
REFRESH Labs redesigns individual web pages, not complete websites. The service uses a minimal number of cookies, all strictly necessary for its operation.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet) by the website you are visiting. It is typically used to remember a display preference, identify a session, or protect the site against bots.
2. General principle applied by REFRESH Labs
REFRESH Labs uses no advertising cookies, no marketing-tracking cookies, no profiling cookies, and no social pixels (Meta, TikTok, X, etc.).
The only cookies placed are strictly necessary to the operation and security of the service. In line with the French CNIL's position, no prior consent is required for these essential cookies. A transparent information banner is nonetheless displayed on your first visit.
3. Detailed list of cookies set
| Name | Issuer | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
refresh_lang |
REFRESH Labs | Memorise your preferred display language (FR or EN) to avoid switching on every visit. | 1 year |
refresh_cookies_seen |
REFRESH Labs | Memorise that the cookies information banner has been dismissed (so it is not re-displayed on every page). | 1 year |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Bot management cookie (anti-spam, anti-DDoS). Necessary to filter automated requests. | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | Turnstile / Challenge validation — confirms that the user is not a bot. | 30 days max |
Third-party cookies set during payment: when you proceed to subscription payment, you are redirected to Stripe (buy.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies on its domain, necessary for transaction security (anti-fraud). These cookies fall under Stripe's cookies policy, and REFRESH Labs has no access to them.
4. Local storage (localStorage)
To improve your experience, REFRESH Labs also uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) — this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to the server, except at the precise moment it is used to authenticate a request. Local storage does not fall under the ePrivacy Directive, but we mention it for transparency:
refresh_labs_key— yourLABS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXaccess key received by email after payment, stored locally so you do not have to re-enter it.refresh_email— email address entered in the modal, memorised to avoid re-entry.
You can clear this data at any time via your browser's "Clear site data" settings.
5. How to manage your cookies
You can at any time:
- Refuse all cookies via your browser settings — note that this may prevent the service from operating normally (you may not be able to log in or pass Turnstile).
- Delete existing cookies via your browser settings.
- Configure cookie duration and per-site acceptance in your browser settings.

6. Changes to the cookies policy
If a future feature were to introduce non-strictly-necessary cookies (e.g. analytics or marketing), an explicit consent banner complying with CNIL guidelines will be implemented before any such cookie is set, with a "Reject all" button as accessible as "Accept all".
7. Contact & complaint
For any question regarding this cookies policy: contact@mov-studio.com.
You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the French CNIL — www.cnil.fr/en/plaintes — or with the data-protection authority of your country of residence (if in the EU).
